I can't be positive but it appeared to me that the chanting was much the same as at the funeral ceremonies. It is quite fascinating to watch and listen. It's melodic without being musical and slightly hypnotic. Hypnosis would have been useful from sitting with crossed legs because I was in distress. From an excessive amount of running at the gym, my knees are shot and I find these really fundamental sitting postures virtually impossible to manage.
