Thousands of western expats move to Thailand every year and, in my opinion, the happiness of the relaxed culture as well as the Thais has a lot to do with it. Our children are definitely going to be forced to face challenges that we cannot envision at this point. They should be able to think for themselves. In addition, I believe we're going to have to face challenges using a world-wide and humanitarian perspective, so the skills will undoubtedly not be useful minus the character traits I mentioned first.

This is difficult matter for the two partners in the relationship but something that really needs to be correctly discussed so that you both understand each other's perspective. After that you can decide what's better to do in your circumstance.
