John H. Kinzie was produced on July 7, 1803, in Sandwich, Ontario. His father was the daring, controversial John Kinzie, and his mother was energetic Eleanor Lytle McKillip Kinzie, the brave. John H. was their eldest son. The family moved to Chicago, when he was one year old. In Tulsa, Oklahoma recently, a family who was doing well, working hard, contributing to the community, was suddenly deported. Were these drug dealers? Offenders? Not unless the issue of illegal immigration is brought up. The guy was running a successful company in construction, roofing, as I recall. They had a fine house in a good area and were thought of. They'd two teen daughters who were born in America, and understood nothing about Mexico. Yet the whole family deported and was yanked up. Why? My guess is, to make an example of those. Of course the girls wouldn't be compelled to leave, but what choice did they have, if their parents were deported? I'll come back to that later.

On the FBI site, the agency reminds the people that all defendants in a criminal case are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law and a charge isn't evidence of guilt.
