In 1967 I visited with graveyard and the South Vietnamese War Memorial north east of Saigon. I was driving a young Vietnamese woman, PB, who was originally from North Vietnam. Her husband, a young officer was killed by a booby trap whilst turning over the body of a dead Viet Cong.
At 9 a.m. the next morning, we transferred from Sapa Town to Tram Ton pass, which is at an altitude of 1,900 meters, where we started the climb. Dressed in proper mountaineering gear, we were eager for the journey ahead. On our shoulders were light back packs with water, biscuits and fruit 外籍配偶 and clothing and we taken the "Truong Son stick". The local porters took the tents, sleeping bags and food ahead of us.
Absolutely enraptured by the odds of chance, I left the temple and lingered in the water's edge for a little 貿協 while. Unwillingly I slowly walked toward the city where I soon spied a set of old Chinese coins on display at a sidewalk vendor's stall around the lake and crossed the bridge.
Diamond Plaza is also a large shopping mall in Ho Chi Minh city. It's at 34 Le Duan street, District 1 near the Notre Dame Cathedral. Diamond Plaza is older than Vincom but it still brings many trend lovers daily, seeing. Diamond Plaza hosts many renowned brand names for clothes, cosmetic accessories and toys, etc.
On short visits, drink the tea that's offered, even if you don't like it and are afraid of the local water. It shows that you are revered and welcome.
What could not be missed in this lovely complex is the Turtle Tower, which lies in the middle of the Lake, in order to remind vietnam culture of the Turtle God of his great support. It was told that King Le Thanh Tong used to fish here. Lord Trinh also built the structure to place his entourage while going to the lake.
He located some Russians and Czechs who owned several jazz cassette tapes. They let him borrow them so he could write down the music. He eventually bought a single tape plus a tape recorder.
