I am fluent in two languages-English and music. This might sound like a bizarre admission but considering that I'm a travel writer, the undeniable fact that I can communicate fully in just my native tongue and another language with no words is not saying much.

Companies are seeking more bilingual workers and there's a higher demand for bilingual employees in the work force. There are so many occupations that require a Spanish speaker. Jobs in law enforcement, medical occupations, and government jobs are only several examples. Those occupations are only a small number of the advantages you get from learning Spanish. In the southern area of America in particular there's a great need and demand for workers who understand Spanish. Spanish speakers are needed in grocery stores, variety shops, and in the malls. The list can go on and on since the need is great. I hope you can see the point that is to start learning Spanish.

Hereis the scenario I envision. I check out an e-book reader (for free, of course) from the service counter. The e-book reader is connected to the network of the bookstore. I walk over to the touch screen panel situated in a book try what he says stand or the computer in the end of a bookshelf. I seek names, check out writers, find a book that looks interesting, and look at covers. I punch in the number of the e-book reader I'm taking, and the first 40 or 50 pages of the publication are downloaded to the reader. I take the e-book reader to a soft chair, hook one leg over the armrest, and read. Maybe I locate 10 publications that look intriguing. I download the excerpt from each.

His mother had taken him to the closest hospital two or three days following the harm. I shudder to think how the poor little thing endured during that time. After becoming familiar with the family, I felt that she'd likely begged her husband because he couldn't pay visit the next post invoice, and he'd refused. She finally located some way to get him to the nearest hospital, where he was briefly examined and sent on to a Fort Smith, AR hospital, although she does not drive. There he was kept for the day before being transferred to the Children's Hospital in Little Rock.

I joined ACCOMMODATE in 1986. At the time, I was living my home town, in Chicago, IL. A buddy of my godmother called her to see if there was anyone that she knew who would be interested in working as an attendant and interpreter for a man with disabilities. Dennis Schreiber, the man, was a member of ADAPT. He traveled often, and desired someone as back up staff.

I can enter my credit card info and buy both books through the e-book reader. If I do not need if I desire to pay cash, or to enter my payment information through the reader, I take the e-book reader to the sales counter. The clerk scans the number of the reader and pulls up my purchase details. The very first novel is, really, waiting there for me. The clerk verifies that I need the other novel, also. I do. I make my payment, get the first novel, drop off the reader, and I am done. I am another happy bookstore customer.

A John's warnings belatedly came to mind, "Avert communities that are extremely large, that border another nation or are near a large city," but it was too late to worry about that now, my only concern was for the lad's safety . . . But his room was empty.

This article is offered as a wake-up call for many who feel for the deaf or see them broken. The vast majority don't want pity, but rather the respect and acknowledgment they can do pretty much anything in the world..except hear.
