I saw that many holiday shows go on in the U.S. after Thanksgiving. One year-it was 2008-I was encouraged to Dave Koz's Christmas show, and I had an excellent time because normally, I only perform my original tunes, and as a result of this special season, I had the chance to play Christmas songs with other great artists. So, I thought, "Hmm, I'll begin my very own Christmas show." At that time from this past year at Tokyo Blue Note, we began the annual Christmas concert of Keiko. So, this really is the second year. Also, in the House of Blues in Los Angeles, I am developing that special show in the U.S., too.
