The Taken King is technically an expansion, meaning it drops a whole bunch of new content on top of the existing game. An environment to explore and run Patrol missions in. Dude, this is some bull. Yeah the Season Pass was only for the first two expansions, The Dark Below and House of Wolves, so if you want The Taken King you'll have to pay for it now at a cost close to the original base game. I believe there's a new location with it? but I haven't read too much up on it really as I gave up following The Dark Below. Oh and there's the Red Bull promotional exclusive mission too so if you want to do that you'd best start buying some Red Bull.
